Although Beth's talent in music was already showing itself at a young age, music is only one of her many interests. She also loves the outdoors and spends most of her free time hiking, camping, and boating with her family. Reading, teaching, traveling, cooking, and occasionally resting, all score high on the list. She would like to share some sites with you that she thinks are interesting or important.

The Desert Botanical Garden has a great music series and a wonderful collection of cactus from all over Arizona. Beth has played their concert series for more than 18 years with her own bands as well as with Sherry Roberson and Pete Pancrazi.

An artist in Phoenix, Arizona whose work focuses on anatomy, both human and animal. Martinez’s drawing, paintings and prints are featured in three publications through the Hispanic Research Center and Bilingual Press/Editorial Bilingue of Arizona State University. Both ASU and the University of Norte Dame have commissioned Martinez to create limited edition prints.
Beth is on the faculty of the All Saints Episcopal Day School, where she teaches music and Spanish.

Beth's entire family are avid environmentalists with a passion for the manatee. They need help.
Cheetahs are endangered throughout their range and within 20 years could well become extinct in the wild. Beth's family belongs to this organization that is working hard to save these magnificent cats.
